Databases

Most of the databases require your library card number and/or a PIN. Contact the library to get your PIN. INSPIRE is available to all Indiana residents.

    Our location at 131 North Walnut Street is open:
    Monday through Thursday 9:00 am - 9:00 pm
    Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
    Saturday 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
    Sunday (October through April) 1:00 - 5:00 pm

Reference Resources at the Library

The library has general reference sources available for use within the library including encyclopedias, atlases, almanacs, pamphlets, and other specialized materials.

On the library's Index Table, you'll find:

Indexes to National Geographic, the Dictionary of American Biography, and American Heritage magazines.

Business and manufacturers directories
The Value Line Investment Survey series
The Morningstar Mutual Funds series
Facts On File "Personal Forms On File," which may be photocopied at the library (10 cents per page)
N.A.D.A. and Blue Book used car guides
Annual Reports from dozens of national and local corporations
Reproducible Federal Tax Forms

Library visitors can use our public access workstations to access INSPIRE, a collection of databases and reference resources. Indiana residents can also access INSPIRE from school, home or office.
