TAG - Teen Advisory Group

Calling all teens interested in making the library work for you!

  • Are you in grades 7-12?
  • Do you have ideas to improve the library’s teen services?
  • Do you want to participate in fun activities?

If you answered "yes" to the above questions, we want you to apply to become a member of the Batesville Memorial Public Library’s Teen Advisory Group (TAG) and assist us in providing an exciting teen department - one that works for you.

Print out the application [PDF], or visit the Education Librarian Desk at the library if you are interested.  Application forms may also be picked up at the library's Check-Out Desk.

What does the TAG do?

TAG members support and increase awareness of teen services and assist in decisions that help provide an exciting teen environment and have a lot of fun through:

  • Developing and assisting with programming for students their age.
  • Bringing teens into the library through spreading the word about books, videos, the library, and its programs.
  • Suggesting titles for purchase.
  • Attending periodic meetings and activities.

Our Teen Advisory Group meets on occasional Mondays from 4:00 till 5:00 PM.
