What is WiFi?

WiFi (Wireless Fidelity) computer networking technology allows computers and PDAs to send and receive Internet data via a wireless network.  The Batesville Memorial Public Library has installed an IEEE 802.11b / 802.11g Wireless Standard network for public use.  If your computer is WiFi enabled, you can connect to the Internet wirelessly while you are at the library.
