Playback unit

The Batesville Memorial Public Library partners with the Indiana Talking Book and Braille Library to provide a free service for Hoosiers who cannot read standard print due to a visual or physical impairment. They offer books and magazines in braille, large print and audio formats. They also provide specialized playback equipment, reader advisory services and equipment repair. All services, materials and delivery costs are free to eligible Indiana residents.
Stop in the library and ask about this service. We can even demonstrate the digital audio playback equipment, and provide you with the required application form.
